Within the IDEAM NBS project (Integrated Danube Environmental Assessment and Monitoring for Nature-Based Solutions), we explore the possibilities of integrating remote sensing data, in-situ monitoring, and modeling to develop a decision-support tool. The tool would serve the purpose of of identifying, preparing, and implementing nature-based solutions (NBS) in the Danube region. Together with partners from four countries, we promote blue-green infrastructure through comprehensive integration of data sources and stakeholder involvement, towards enhancing flood protection and water resource management.
